How safe is zip lining?
Here is a recent stellar evaluation from ABEE, Board Member Company of the Association of Challenge Course Techonology:

How far in advance should I make my reservation?
To ensure that you get your first choice, we recommend at least 2 weeks ahead.
We usually have openings even one day in advance, but availability may be limited. Call us to find out!
Four weeks in advance is best if there are five or more in your group or during busy seasons. These busy times are summer (June through August), Thanksgiving week (third week in November) and Christmas/New Year’s (December 15 through January 15).
Where is Princeville Ranch Adventures located in Hawaii?

We are located on the island of Kauai, on the north shore in Princeville. Our check-in office is one mile from the Princeville Airport, on the ocean side of Kuhio Highway (Highway 56). Look for the green and yellow flags and the circular “Princeville Ranch Adventures” signs.
How many guests are usually on a tour?
Most times there will be 12.
When is the meal served? Should I eat before going out on tour?
The picnic will be served about 3 hours after your check-in time. Snacks are available for purchase in our office.
Can I order a vegetarian or other special meal?
Yes, you can order a vegetarian picnic, consisting of a wrap sandwich of bean puree in a flour tortilla, romaine lettuce, sprouts, carrots and bell pepper. The condiments are taco sauce, Caesar salad dressing, mayonnaise and mustard. A chocolate chip cookie and potato chips complete the meal.
How do I order a vegetarian picnic?
If you make your reservation online, please call our office two days before your tour to request a vegetarian meal. If you call in your reservation, please let us know then.
Do you provide transportation from my hotel?
We do not provide any transportation to our check-in office.
Will there be guides on the tours?
Yes, our fun, safe and professional guides lead you on your adventure from start to finish!
How do we carry our stuff with us on the tour?
Lightweight backpacks are provided for all tours. With the Jungle Valley Adventure, dry bags also are included.
Are water shoes OK for zip lining?
No. Guests must wear sneakers, hiking boots or sturdy, closed-toe all-terrain shoes. Please wear shoes that can get dirty, muddy and wet. It’s part of the fun!
Are rental shoes available?
Yes, we offer sturdy all-terrain, hard-toe trail sandals at $5.00 a pair. There are both children’s and adult sizes (women’s and men’s).
Can I bring a camera on tour?
Absolutely, please do. Bring along your video camera as well!
Does your company take photos or videos for us?
No, we do not, but our guides are experienced in taking photos with most cameras and would be happy to take a photo of your group for you.
Will I get wet on tour?
Most likely—it rains almost every day on Kauai, at least for a short while! We recommend wearing clothing and shoes that can get muddy. Kauai is famous for its rich, red soil. And remember, a passing shower is considered a blessing in Hawaii!
Do your tours go out when it is raining?
Yes, our tours go out rain or shine. In the event that we determine weather is hazardous, we may cancel a tour and guests may be rescheduled.
My child is 10 years old and weighs 85 pounds. Can he do your zip line tour?
He would be welcome on the Jungle Valley Adventure, which has 2 fun, fast zip lines, both over 400 feet long. A guest must be at least 12 years old and weigh 80 to 280 pounds for either the Zip N’ Dip or Zip Express tours.
How can I pay for my tour?
We accept Master Card, Visa, cash and Travelers Checks.
When I’m zip lining, will I have to brake myself or control my speed?
No. Our guides will do this for you, ensuring your safety and giving you extra time to scream!
My partner wants to zip but I just want to watch. Can I come along?
You could go on our Jungle Valley Adventure, with 2 fun, fast zip lines, both over 400 feet long. The zip lining is optional. The tour is set up so you can watch everyone zip and cheer them on!
Non-participants are not allowed on the Zip N’ Dip or Zip Express.
Are there any restrooms on your tour?
We have restrooms at our check-in office. These are the only ‘porcelain facilities’ you’ll encounter while on tour!
